Material Care and Information

Engineered Quartz is manufactured by combining 93% natural quartz with 7% resin and a small amount of colour under extreme pressure to create a slab that is non-porous, extremely durable, and resistant to stains, scratches and heat. Quartz never needs a sealer and is cleaned with water and a mild detergent.

Granite is a natural material and its dense nature gives it a natural defense to resist staining and scratching. It is recommended to regularly apply a sealant once every two years to prevent staining. Clean with water or a cleanser specifically manufactured for natural stone.

Marble is softer and more porous than granite making it easier to stain or scratch and as such is not recommended for use in kitchens. Its natural and often bold veining makes it a beautiful stone for vanities, shower jambs and other interior uses. We recommend applying sealant once every year, and cleaning with water or a cleanser specifically manufactured for natural stone.

Please do not use harsh or abrasive cleansers, bleach, or acidic products. These can damage the surface and finish of natural and engineered stone surfaces.
