Granite

Granite:
A granular igneous stone, ranging vastly in color from near white through the spectrum of golds, pinks, greens and blues to grays and blacks. Granite is made mostly of quartz and feldspar. Granite is cut in the quarry into blocks and sliced into slabs before being polished and sealed. Colors and pattern can vary from block to block and consumers should see the actual slab(s) prior to fabrication of counters. Although granite is extremely durable, spills of oil, juice and other staining agents should be wiped up quickly and the counter should be resealed annually.
