Quartz:
Quartz” (sometimes called Engineered Stone) is a man made slab made of 93% quartz and 7% resin to create a stone look-alike with tremendous hardness, strength and durability. The mixture of various sizes and colors of mined quartz are mixed with advanced polymer resins and a small amount of color is placed in a mold and compressed under 100 tonnes of pressure. This eliminates any voids to create a totally non-porous surface that is then milled and polished in a typical slab format.

The advantages of Quartz include strength, durability, extremely stain resistant with easy clean up with soap & water and never needs a sealer. All Quartz manufacturers also provide a warranty of at least 10 years. All Quartz products are certified for use in food preparation areas by NSF. The price is highly competitive with natural stone.


Cambria
Cambria natural quartz surfaces are twice as strong as granite, it's a surface that is truly everlasting. No sealing, polishing or reconditioning is needed. Simply wash with warm water. Princess Margaret Hospital Lottery House
House & Home Magazine designers, Erin Feasby and Lynda Reeves, took on the task of designing to prefect family home for the Princess Margaret Lottery with proceeds going to cancer treatment and research. York Fabrica participated in supplying many of the counters used within the house.
