York Marble is one of North America’s largest suppliers, fabricators, and installers of architectural stone products. With consistent contracting for landmark projects across the GTA, York Marble has worked on: Toronto Pearson Airport, New Toronto Courthouse, Rogers Centre and more.
16 York Street
This project was completed using a design assist model. Guided by design and budget parameters, various options were researched and provided to ASGG Architecture. Material was sourced in Italy and Vietnam. Several quarry visits where required to ensure specified veining preferences were present in harvested blocks. Each slab was custom cut to a 33-degree vein angle, then dry-laid for the owner’s final review and approval. This project was awarded the 2022 TTMAC Judges Award of Merritt.
