16 York Street

This project was completed using a design assist model.  York Marble researched and provided various options to the architect within their design parameters and the stipulate budget provided by the owner.  Material was sourced in Italy and Vietnam.  Several quarry visits where required to ensure that blocks were harvested with the proper vein direction.  Each slab was custom cut to a 33-degree vein angle then dry-layed for the owner’s final review and approval. This project was awarded the 2022 TTMAC Judges Award of Merritt.
